Despite pressure during the off-season and divergent trends between light and heavy rare earths, the market has seen a tightening of low prices for spot oxides intertwined with a rebound at low levels for heavy rare earths such as Dy Oxide and Tb Oxide. Although downstream purchases have been made on demand this week, resulting in light trading, market confidence has improved compared to last week.
